      We invite you to learn more about the services and resources we offer to assist in exploring careers, choosing a career or major, and learn job-seeking and other employability skills. Students from all Business, Professional, and Technical Education majors are encouraged to work with the Career Center staff as early as their first year. The services provided by the CTE Success Center are free of charge, and are available to students during their time at Navarro College. Please explore our website, stop by our office, or contact us with any questions.


      STUDENT ADVISING

      The Career Center provides advising for students who are Business, Professional and Technical Education (BPTE) majors, undeclared majors and those who want additional guidance in their specific career field. If you need additional advising on educational and career planning, contact the Career Center for more information.

      Career Development

      The CTE Success Center has job seeking resources available for students to check out.  Career Development advising is provided to individuals with creating appropriate resumes, multiple if needed, for targeting each employment situation. The CTE Success Center provides online tools to support career development of students in the Business, Professional and Technical Education division.

      Online Job Board

      The CTE Success Center’s online job posting and resume database system is available for students and alumni.  Once registration is complete, students can register at any time from any computer.   Students can view job postings and upload a resume. Students and employers should contact us for questions.

      SUPPORT SERVICES

      Textbook Loans, Childcare Assistance and Transportation Assistance

      Childcare Assistance and Textbook Loans are available for Navarro College students. To qualify, you must be a Business, Professional, and Technical Education major and be eligible to receive a Pell grant. Assistance is based on first-come, first-serve, special populations, full-time status, minimum GPA 2.0 and availability of funds.

      Navarro Upswing (Online Tutoring Services)

      The CTE Success Center provides tutoring services to career and technical majors on the Corsicana campus in areas such as Accounting and Business Information Technology, as well as general computer skills. For more information on how you can sign up for tutoring services, please contact the CTE Success Center at (903) 875-7571.
