STUDENT CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS
Joining a campus club is a great way to enrich your academic experience at NC! By
participating in on-campus activities, NC students can help make a positive impact
at Navarro. There are many clubs on campus and they change periodically with the changing
interests of the student body. Find out if your club is active or to possibly start
a new one.
LIVING & DINING ON CAMPUS
Live on campus and make learning the focus of your life! Living on campus provides
you many options, free internet, a short walking distance to classes, and convenient
access to computer labs, on-site laundry, and much more.

On Campus Dining
On the Corsicana Campus, there are two dining service options available: a full-service
dining hall in the Kenneth Walker Dining Hall and a deli/snack bar at the Rick & Rosie’s
Deli.
Beautique & Books
Stop at Beautique and Books on your way to class or the library for a Starbucks beverage or grab some fresh baked goods & to-go meals from the Collin Street Bakery. Open for breakfast and lunch.
ARTS & CULTURE
Cook Education Center
The Cook Education Center is home to a 60-foot planetarium dome, three conference areas, and three museums.
Civil War Museum
The Civil War collection at the Pearce Museum provides visitors of all ages a journey through time of the American Civil War. More than 15,000 documents, photographs, and 3D artifacts related to the period 1861 to 1865 are on display.
Western Art
The Western Art collection at the Pearce Museum is home to 250 works of art related to the historic and modern American West.
Hunters and Gatherers Exhibit
The Hunter-Gatherers of the Blackland Prairie exhibit has more than 44,000 artifacts related to the prehistoric period in Central Texas.
Planetarium
The Cook Education Center Planetarium at Navarro College features a 60-foot circular dome and theatre to provide visitors views of the Solar System, stars, and a variety of shows.
THEATRE ARTS ON CAMPUS
Performing Arts
Many of our live productions are held on the Dawson Audition of the Corsicana Campus and in the Nicholas P. Sims Library (Lyceum Theatre) in Waxahachie.
Blackbox Theatre
The Blackbox Theatre, located on the Corsicana Campus, holds a variety of student productions in an intimate environment setting.
MUSICAL PERFORMANCES
Chorale & Concert Choir
The Navarro College Chorale & Concert Choir includes music majors and non-majors and focuses on performing choral music from a variety of style periods. Each semester, students in the NC Chorale perform at the Cook Education Center. Choir groups include Navarro Choir and Navarro Sound.
Sound of Navarro (SON)
is the largest student musical organization at NC and stands as an icon of campus tradition. The SON marching band performs at football games and makes frequent featured appearances at various regional and state-level marching contests.
Other NC bands include Navarro College Jazz, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and Pep Band.
ATHLETICS & RECREATIONAL SPORTS
Bulldog Athletics
Navarro has six Division I Varsity sports including Men’s Baseball, Men’s Basketball, Men’s Football, Women’s Soccer, Women’s Softball, and Women’s Volleyball.
Intramural & Recreational Sports
Play pool or just hang out while you’re doing your laundry around the corner from Gibson Hall. Our student lounge offers plenty of outlets for fitness, exercise, and general well-being.
